The International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid (FITUR) was the perfect stage for ATP to establish important contacts with markets from Brazil, Argentina, Spain, the UK and Asia.

Throughout FITUR, which took place last weekend in Madrid, the Associação de Turismo do Porto e Norte-ATP (Convention & Visitors Bureau) established direct contact with more than 300 players, in addition to the thousands of attendees who visited the two stands set at the fair.

The 38th edition of the fair had more than 250 thousand visitors, 140 thousand operators and 7500 journalists, surpassing, to a large extent, the number of visits compared to the previous year.

In addition to the usual and institutional presence at the Turismo de Portugal stand, ATP was also present at the stand of the Regional Entity, which is a result of a collaboration and joint strategy established between the two organizations, which allowed to increase the visibility of the region and to establish even more contacts with industry players.

The excellent partnership established at FITUR between ATP and the Regional Entity is the first step in a more comprehensive and joint strategy to increase the promotion of the Porto and Northern region.
