Harper's Bazaar Thailand, a fashion destination magazine, visited Porto in June 2018, to experience the best nooks the city has to offer.
Rathasiam Sinlakhun came from the other side of the world - Bangkok, Thailand - eager to discover the wonders of the city which, a year before, had won the title “European Best Destination”.
The journalist published a two-page long article, highlighting the best there was to see and do in Porto. In his own words, Porto’s charm is unparalleled. He shares many tips and places to visit, such as São Bento Railway Station, Carmo Church, Clérigos Tower, Livraria Lello, Casa da Música, Ribeira and Luiz I Bridge.
Rathasiam also mentions some incredible experiences, like being able to overfly Porto in a helicopter, riding a tram around the city’s busy narrow streets, filled with history and culture and, of course, listening to Fado, a traditional Portuguese music genre.
Lastly, he dedicates a reasonable portion of his article explaining to his readers the history behind Port Wine, featuring some of the Cellars one can visit while they are here.
